The Thuren Swaybar is much softer than the stock unit, allowing the axle to move freely when hitting uneven bumps like ruts or going into a driveway at a 45 degree angle. Includes Sway bar, Frame mounts and End links, and hardware.

  • Uses Poly Orbital joints in the end links, and poly frame mount bushings.
  • 6 grease zerk fittings used throughout the assembly.
  • Same proven JKS Poly orbital joints as used in Thuren's other swaybar links.
  • Not recommended  if you have a much higher center of gravity, for example, a slide in camper. If you have heavy weight in the bed below the top rail, on the trailer hitch, or towing a heavy 5th wheel or gooseneck, there is no handling issue.
  • May interfere with some steering box braces, check the brace to make sure a straight bar will clear.

Another fantastic upgrade

I have installed this sway bar along with coil springs, a track bar, and control arms, all from Thuren on my truck. I installed each selection separately, to fully understand and feel the difference each part would make. The sway bar is nearly as significant as the track bar. The original track bar was worn on my truck so that probably is why the difference was so significant. But the truck is much more comfortable, the steering is much more relaxed, and washboard roads are much smoother. The rear suspension is noticeably rougher than the front, when before they were about equal. When you went over a speedbump or pothole, the feeling was identical front to rear. Now it is much softer and less jarring when it hits the front. I am running this on a 2011 Ram 2500 with factory wheels and 37s. I did have to modify my steering box brace to fit the sway bar. Was a bit of a battle but not a huge deal. Installed in less than 2 hours.

Thuren sway bar

Great sway bar, but nobody took into account for the steering box brace for the 3rd gen ram 2500-3500 that would be in the way of the sway bar, or is it the other way around?
I had to modify the steering box brace to make the sway bar fit.
Other than that, the sway bar performs as it should

Ride is much less sharp. Definitely worth the money. Easy to install.
