2014+ Ram 2500 and Power Wagon trucks use a rear coil suspension design, which from the factory is prone to getting a wag or sway feeling as it cycles. At times, it can be so severe that it will even engage the ABS or traction control. If you've experienced this, the Thuren rear track bar is the solution!

This track bar flattens the track bar angle to dramatically reduce the lateral movement of the suspension through the wheel travel. Simply put, this is how Ram should have designed their rear track bar from the factory! This track bar also features spherical end joints, which reduce the bushing slop found in the factory track bar for even further improvements in handling. While not a mandatory part needed for your suspension, most people find the upgrade VERY worth the money.

Fitment Info:

-This fits the 2014+ 2500 Ram and the 2014+ Ram Power Wagon.
-Trackbar length is extended 6.5" and lifted off the axle, to improve the geometry.
-Retains full suspension compression travel so no bump drops required.
-Hardened 4140 Chromoly solid bar.
-Uses same ultra high-end greaseable rebuildable joints as Thuren control arms.
-17-4 Hardened stainless center pivots.
-All grade 8 hardware.
-1/4" Steel CNC laser cut and formed heavy duty adapter bracket
-Only one new hole to drill and 2 existing holes to open up slightly on the 2500. 2 new holes to drill on the Power Wagon.
-This product will function well on any brand suspension from 0"-2.5" actual rear lift.

Cure the lurch. Thuren track bar

We experienced the rear end of the 2020 Ram CC 4wd lurching towards the passenger side over rough roads, bridge abutments, and off road... This one mod has made a great deal of appreciable difference.. we dialed in the unloaded air pressures front and rear and our drives on the hwy to forest roads have improved... Well worth the investment

Towing improvement

Based on CJC recommendation for my daily towing for work I ordered the Thuren rear and front track bar. 97k on my ‘19 Ram 2500 6.4L towing a 6-8k 8.5’x20’ trailer in NH. Had it installed at the Ram dealership where I have all my work done guess more for peace of mind. I will say that it is certainly a noticeable difference. Does what they say reducing the ‘wag’ and minimizing the ‘drifting’. A more confident ride, less rocking side to side, and turns just overall much better. Reduced the ‘unpleasantness’ in my ride by 1/3 - 1/2. More work to be done but a good first upgrade. The shop tech wasn’t that thrilled installing it saying it was a pain… I’ll leave it at that. Charged me 3 hours for labor to install the bars then the alignment after. Not a big fan on how one of the lines has a clip that just hangs out in a hole on the provided bracket even though you if you research it you know in advance. I feel like if you are going to market something for a specific thing as it’s claimed then make it to be more accommodating and clean. For that I didn’t give it 5 stars but the performance is there for sure and I’m really the only one gonna know what it looks like. I’d put this for someone to buy in two camps… either get it early own in vehicle ownership to get the maximum use out of it if you are really going to use it such as towing often, frequent off roading, or you truly live in a area with rough roads and need the comfort upgrade. The other camp would be ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ in that what till you truly need to replace your track bars then get these opposed to stock. I wouldn’t particularly spend the money if you are just a commuter with the very occasional HD use. But that’s my opinion. Bottom line is if you truly are going to use it for what benefits it adds it’s worth the money. Just know that you might be a little bummed on the aesthetics but who’s gonna really look.
