Probably the best bang for the buck on the market, Carli signature series shocks are an internal floating piston shock with a 2" diameter body and custom valving specific to the Ram platform. These shocks are built for Carli by Eibach suspension, and feature ti nitride coated shafts with a lifetime replacement warranty. That's right, if these shocks fail for any reason, Carli will send you a fresh replacement for no cost.
These are a fantastic, budget friendly way to improve ride on your truck and a much nicer alternative to Bilstein 5100s or even Fox 2.0s.
Please note that shocks do not lift a truck. Shocks control and damp the movement of the suspension, and these are sized for a stock to 3" lifted truck. Old shocks were completely worn out, these definitely made a good bit of difference and nice that they accommodate a 3” lift
I was looking for an economical set up for my truck. I emailed CJC and they responded the following day with suggestions for my setup. Ordered Thuren diesel 2” coils along with the lifetime Carlie shocks and what a difference! Worth every penny! But most importantly, CJC responded to a few of my emails with silly questions. Customer service was 6 STARS!
Installed these springs along with Carli shocks last weekend-Wow! What a difference. All of CJC Offroads recommendations and help have been so appreciated! Looking forward to putting the Carli Leaf springs on in the next week or two. Looks better and rides much better.
What can I say? They are wayyy better than stock in every way. Perfectly valved for a daily/ or tow rig with 3in coils.
Paired these with the thuren 3” level coil and instillation was okay. The fronts were a lot easier than the rears, but may have been my doing. For the fronts I took the top hats off the truck and dropped the shock through them, put the top hats back on and lifted the axel back up. The rears I left the truck sitting on its own weight and had to manually compress the shock and time putting the bolt through.
Ride quality on these is definitely improved. It doesn’t continue bouncing past a bump. I now hear the bump but don’t feel it more than once. I would recommend
