Carli 2014+ Ram 2500 Pintop King leveling height shocks offer are the highest quality bolt in King shocks available for the Ram platform. Completely custom designed for Carli by King, these shocks offer unmatched performance on and off road. If you want a Ram that can play just as hard as it works, these are your shocks.

Carli rounds off ALL King shocks with shafts machined and polished from a solid piece of 17-4 Stainless. Unlike King’s standard shafts, there is no coating to wear off, weather can’t hurt them and if there is a small chip, you can round the edges with emery cloth to ensure the seal housing isn’t damaged as they’re not brittle like the stock, hardened shafts.

The shocks are finished with King oil good to -55° F. Note that all King shocks are built with a plated steel body. If subjected to inclement weather for extended periods, we recommend wrapping your shocks in protective to provide a moisture barrier that’s replaceable.

I have 244,000 miles on my Ram 2500 with the original factory shocks. They finally started leaking, so I figured it was time for an upgrade.

My brother has been running these shocks for a while, and he’s always had great things to say about them. Once I got mine installed, I could see why. The installation was straightforward, and the reservoir mounts fit perfectly.

There were a few spots on my daily drive that I couldn’t wait to test. One is an intersection with a large crown in the middle that used to launch my truck and make it bounce several times afterward. Now I hit that same spot, and it’s smooth as butter. The shocks soak it up exactly the way they should.

I also took the truck camping over the weekend, pulling our 29-foot trailer up I-17 through the Arizona mountains. The suspension handled the weight and the rough roads incredibly well. The truck felt more planted, more controlled, and much more confidence-inspiring than it ever did on the factory shocks.

If you’re trying to decide between Fox or Icon shocks with the smaller reservoirs, I’d say skip them and go straight to the big 2.5s. You won’t regret it. Not only do they perform exceptionally well, but anyone who knows suspension will recognize those big 2.5 reservoirs and know you’ve got good taste.

Ram 2500 Carli Pintop Kings 2.5

I had the Carli BackCountry kit and had a problem as the kit was not enough for me. CJC tool care of me and helped to made the switch to the Pintop Kit. Really glad I contacted CJC again. Top service and the Kings Pintop 2.5 kit is exactly what my truck needed. A lot more stable and control from the suspension. These coil springs Rams HD really need bigger shocks and that kit is really good. It stopped the bouncy feel, is more plantes, and provide a lot less side to side movement on uneven surfaces where the original shocks would throw you from left to right in the seat. Big thanks to CJC and thumbs up to Carli suspension.

Worth the investment

I started with Fox 2.0 shocks that my Carli 2.5” leveling kit came with 3 years ago to save some money. I was never very impressed with those shocks, not as big of an upgrade as expected and bouncy while towing gooseneck trailer.

Swapped for the Kings and just drove from Utah to Tennessee towing about 15k gooseneck trailer and these King shocks are incredible. So much more control and stability while towing and eliminated the soft bouncing caused by trailer loads. Made for a very comfortable and low stress 3 day trip.

Unloaded they also feel much more controlled and perhaps slightly stiffer on small bumps but not as stiff as expected after reading other reviews.
I have a full air suspension rear end (no steel springs) on my truck and the tune on the air specific shocks feels very good.

Wish I had purchased these 3 years ago with the package, spent more money in the end but happy now. Have not been off road yet but excited to try them on our high speed chatter bump desert roads between trailheads.

Great Shocks

Had the Fox 2.0 non-resi before on another Ram 2500, which were too soft for my preference. The Kings are much firmer and sportier, and absorb bigger bumps/popholes with ease. However, small bumps are a bit more pronounced...
