Carli leaf spring shackles are the final cherry on top of rear ride improvement. Built in the USA, these shackles improve ride, articulation, and serviceability. Unlike the stock shackles that bind and restrict movement, these are designed to keep up with and augment the ride improvement from Carli leaf springs. 

Some of the jarring ride of the Super Duty rear can be attributed to the factory vulcanized bushings in the leaf spring pack and shackle. The factory shackle is very strong BUT the design is not conducive to a smooth ride. This is no surprise as a Super Duty isn’t made to ride well, it’s made to tow. The Factory leaf springs are high-spring-rate and short-travel, why would Ford design a shackle that rides well and is capable of extended suspension travel? Vulcanized bushings are a press-fit bushing often utilized by OEMs in which the bushing material is adhered on both points of contact.

Carli does everything in their power to milk these trucks for as much ride quality as they can. The vulcanized bushings may not seem like a big deal until you consider that there are 6 total bushings fighting suspension movement in the factory configuration – front leaf spring pivot, rear leaf spring pivot and shackle pivot.

Replacing the factory springs with Carli-spec Deavers replaces 4 of these bushings (front and rear leaf-spring pivot) with free-moving, serviceable bushings, and this shackle replaces the final 2. In contrast to the factory bushing, the Carli Bushing assembly utilizes more bushing material and a thinner sleeve to prioritize ride damping.

Further, Carli bushings are serviceable. Droop the rear end and grease them through the protected zerk fitting. There are channels for the grease from the zerk. The grease travels through these channels, around the crush sleeve and to the bushing face for optimal grease migration and bushing life.

If you do manage to wear out the Carli Shackle bushings, you purchase new ones and swap them in; reuse the crush sleeve. The factory shackle requires replacement in its entirety when the bushings crack/rot.

Carli Rear Leaf Shackle-2025 F350 Dually

Great quality upgrade, for the rear of the Super Duty. I installed these on our 2025 F350 Crew Cab Diesel Dually 4X4 (Stock Rear Leaf Springs). Takes the edge off the smaller jounces and softens the compression impact. Great addition to the Leveling Kit, and 35" Tires. One point: The instructions, from Carli, could be updated. There is no need to remove the Rear Leaf Springs, when installing these shackles on "Stock" Leaf Springs. I didn't even take the Rear Dually Wheels off. There are videos on YouTube about this. All I did- Chock Front Wheels, Jack up the rear of the truck by the rear differential high enough to allow the axle to droop when unloaded, support the rear of the frame (Forward of the Front Leaf Spring Hanger) with Jack Stands, loosen both Rear Shackle Bolts (Do Not Remove Yet), slowly lower the Rear Axle to remove tension until you can spin the Lower Shackle Bolt by hand-then remove both lower bolts. Slowly raise the axle until the the top Shackle Bolt is above the frame-the bolts will slide out and the shackle can be removed...... Less than 2 hours of work, including clean-up, and coffee breaks. FOLLOW the Carli recommendations, and Specs, with exception of the spring removal (If you are so inclined).....Just my 2 cents!

P.S. I'm an "Old Guy", and I was able to do this by myself, for what it's worth. I did the lift, myself, as well!

Everything Carli is Worth it.

If you can afford it, get it. Carli commuter with all of the bells and whistles. It rides pretty amazing.

And CJC is amazing from their knowledge on the product to customer service. I couldn’t be more pleased with everything.

Can’t say enough about these springs. Had a set from a different company that still included the factory block. These springs have completely changed the feel of the truck. Even the responsiveness from the front end along with ride quality have improved significanty. I paired them with the shackles and I am flat out impressed
