Designed from the ground up for trucks equipped with constant in bed load like campers, service bodies or commercial beds, this Carli HD Pintop system will transform what your Super Duty is capable of on and off road. The core of this system is shock tuning and rear leaf spring rates specifically configured for trucks with 800-1,000 pounds, around 2,000 pounds, or around 3,500 pounds of load in the bed full time.

These shocks were tuned on real trucks with campers in the bed that were at these weight ranges, meaning the valving not only accounts for the weight but the higher center of gravity too. The goal was to create real world shock tuning reflecting what it's actually like to drive these trucks!

If you want the best possible on and off road handling for your truck along with class leading 9" front and 13" rear suspension travel for unmatched articulation, this suspension system is the way to go.

Choosing the right leaf pack spring rate for your truck is critical, so we highly recommend weighing your truck as it sits ready for a trip or daily work, as that will get you the most accurate value to select the correct shock and leaf package for the true weight of your truck. Keep in mind, we only recommend these leaf packs if the weight is in the truck full time. Lots of customers have campers that go in and out of the bed for trips, so in that case we recommend ordering the XHD base system, but keeping your stock rear leaf packs with these Full Travel airbags. That will be the best option to balance unloaded and loaded ride in the truck. These airbags can also be added to any of the HD packs to allow for variable extra load like towing with the camper still on the truck. 

If you don't add a rear Carli leaf spring option, certain 2023+ F-250s may need a taller rear block to sit level depending on the trim package. If you find your truck is rear low, we recommend this block kit.  

 

WHAT OPTIONS DO YOU NEED:

Sway Bar:

The Carli torsion sway bar is a softer rate sway bar that allows for more free articulation on the front end of the truck, and doesn't throw the cab around when crossing over ruts and dips. That might sound counter intuitive to add to a camper truck, but if you go with the HD leaf packs and shock tuning, those provide the stability needed to feel confident on the highway, while the lighter rate sway bar keeps the truck level and lets the suspension work off road. If you're sticking with stock rear leaf packs, keep the stock sway bar and add drop brackets. 

Steering Stabilizers:

We recommend the high mount factory location for any truck running larger than stock tires. If you want even less steering feedback hitting potholes or imperfections in the road, you can also add the Carli low mount to create a dual opposing stabilizer system with one on the drag link and the other on the tie rod. 

Radius Arms:

While not a mandatory part, Carli radius arms are a nice "cherry on top" addition to increase suspension articulation and small bump compliance thanks to the new frame side joint, while also improving ride quality and strength. If the budget is tight, you can always add these later. 

Rear Leaf Springs:

Airbags:

If you have dynamic weight change like a camper going in and out of the bed with stock leaf packs or a trailer being loaded behind your truck, these leaf packs are the best way to balance capacity and ride quality/ articulation when not loaded. They use a VERY unique design that can keep up with the full 13" of travel provided by a Carli leaf pack. Almost all standard airbag kits will not work with Carli leaf packs, but these do! 

Load Scale Brackets:

If your truck came equipped with a factory load scale sensor system, add these in. They are free with any system! 

Shock Protection Film Kit:

If your truck is getting dirty or seeing salt and snow, we highly recommend a wrap kit! We custom cut these from Xpel film to protect the shock bodies and keep them looking like new.
