Being fine-tuned over the last 5 years, Thuren Fabrication's track bar makes a huge difference in steering and suspension feel. Add a lift, bigger tires, or some performance suspension components, and it becomes one of the best handling improvements you can make. Feedback through the wheel becomes almost nonexistent, and overall suspension and steering performance and safety is improved.

Each bend is precisely placed and designed to reduce flex, which is one of the biggest factors contributing to bad performance from other units. Thuren uses DOM tubing for its resilient qualities(unlike Chromoly), being that some flex IS going to happen, with such a heavy vehicle weight. Contrary to what you may think, any defection in the trackbar bushings reduces ride quality and safety, along with ADDING to road feedback.

Being the first track bar to market for the 3rd gen Rams, specifically designed to combat Death Wobble and improve handling and safety, you know you will get the best possible product. While Death Wobble can be a tough situation to combat, as the trackbar alone is not the only source, it is usually the first place to start.

2003-2007.5 trucks will use a 14mm bolts, while 2008-2013 trucks will use a 16mm bolt. Please note that 2013 is a split year. 2500 trucks will use this bar, but 3500 trucks will use the 14+ track bar design so you must order accordingly.

BE SURE TO READ THE IMPORTANT UPGRADE NOTES BELOW IF YOU HAVE A 2005-2008 MODEL YEAR TRUCK!!!

2005 to approximately 2007.5 trucks used 14mm bolts(18mm socket head) on both ends. Around the middle of 2007 some trucks were coming with a 14mm bolt on one side, and a 16mm(21mm head) bolt on the other. If you have a 2007-2008 truck and you are unsure if you have mismatched hardware, you should purchase the above option with hardware(we send OEM nuts and bolts from the Ram dealer with this option) and plan to possibly drill out the mounting flange(s) to a 5/8"(16mm) hole. If you have a 2003-2007 truck, this is a good option also which will let you upgrade to the better hardware by drilling out the mounting flanges.

  • First place to start if your vehicle has ANY strange handling traits.
  • Made from 1.50"x3/8" wall 1026 DOM tube.
  • Delrin machined frame side bushing.
  • CNC machined form-threaded heim joint tube end.
  • Bead blast textured, then highest quality Powdercoated.
  • Adjustable length
  • Grease fitting for frame bushing.
  • Extreme duty FK Teflon lined rod end at axle side.
  • DOES NOT FUNCTION WITH LARGER AFTERMARKET DIFF COVERS!!!!!

Our trackbar is designed to be VERY rigid, and often people will think that having a rigid track bar will give steering vibration and rattle. Regarding the track bar, this not true, being that the trackbar is the only steering support. If the support(trackbar) deflects, the truck will be allowed to basically steer itself as you encounter bumps/ruts/holes/etc. A rigid trackbar is the only way to be sure that inputs you make to the steering wheel, will actually get TO the wheels.

Fantastic track bar

I'm not sure there's another track bar better than this. Absolutely worth every red cent.

Holy Cow, this thing is awesome

I have a 2012 Ram 2500 with the diesel. I bought the truck used and refreshed the front end a few components at a time. The steering and front suspension in general had been a little loose and clunky due to original components with 170k on them. I will say, this track bar by far made the biggest difference out of anything, and of the ball joints, control arms, drag link, and tie rods that I replaced, the factory unit seemed to have been the least worn out of them all. Replacing it with this beefy unit from Thuren made the biggest difference in steering stability and ride quality out of them all. I upgraded to Thuren 3" coils and Bilstein shocks as well, and this track bar compliments them very well. I haven't driven the truck on any twisty turny roads yet, but I am looking forward to it! Well worth the money. I wish I had done it sooner!
