This Moog DS800981A steering linkage kit offers a budget friendly, serviceable and grease-able steering upgrade for your Third and Fourth gen Dodge Ram. This linkage uses the upgraded 08.5+ T style geometry, and can be installed on 2003-2007 trucks that came with Y style steering using the T style pitman arm we offer, and directly installed on 2008.5-2012 trucks with no changes.
Moog steering features individually replaceable rod ends for simpler servicing, and grease fittings to preserve joint lifespan. Since Mopar steering is not available, at this time this is the best budget friendly steering upgrade for these trucks.
If you are moving from the factory 2003-2008 Y style steering(non 08.5+) you must order the updated pitman arm for the correct geometry. Please see the photo in the listing above if you need help identifying your steering.
Moog considers this steering and the joints related to be wear items, so they do not offer warranty for these linkage kits.
