The Carli 3500 Back Country level system pairs soft ride Carli front leveling height 2.5" lift coils with Carli's custom SPEC series 2.0 reservoir shocks. The Backcountry 2.0 system is designed for people seeking the best ride on and off-road quality on a budget; basically, the Leveling Kit for those that want to have a little dirt-road fun in their 8,500lb truck without losing the on-road ride quality or usability for which the truck was designed. You’re no longer limited to the highway while gravel roads become uninteresting as you can drive them at speed with one hand on the wheel. The 2.5” lift height doesn’t require the front or rear geometry correction of our 3” Systems.
Utilizing Carli SPEC 2.0″ Diameter, Remote Reservoir shocks, we’ve developed a tune that delivers all around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in town, highway, towing/hauling as well as slow to mid speed off road use. The remote reservoir Carli SPEC 2.0 boasts 6063 Aluminum construction, anodized body for corrosion resistance, 5/8″ hardened steel chrome plated shaft, full serviceability & rebuildability and are built with 1-peice bushings in the 6061 billet rod-ends. These shocks are spec’d with a premium 5WT oil to balance lubricity, consistent damping and the widest available range in temperature variation. We back these with a 1-year warranty, serviced by Carli.
The rear shocks are also included with this system and have been custom tuned to maximize the ride quality for the factory rear coil springs. As the rear springs remain unmodified, load capacity is maintained while predictability is improved. For those that aren’t looking for massive increase in travel or big shocks but still desire a level stance and improved ride quality and handling characteristics, on and off-road, this is the perfect kit.
Ram lowered single rear wheel 2019+ trucks, so that system incudes a 1" billet rear block and U-bolts. Dually and 13-18 systems do not include this billet block and U-bolt kit.
**This system will NOT be upgradeable to any other Carli Suspension Systems aside from the pintop level.** It’s designed to be a solution for customers wanting a quality system with minimal lift and part inclusion. This system is NOT compatible with trucks equipped with the factory auto-leveling air assist. For factory air trucks, we recommend this purpose built system. This system is not compatible with cab and chassis model trucks.

2025 Ram 3500 drw max towing, Carli SPEC Backcountry 2.5 leveling kit, Carli torsion sway bar. Went from riding like a log wagon to as good, if not better than my stock Ram Rebel 2500. Expansion joints on bridges were terrible on this dually in stock trim, now you can barely feel them. Added 1” block and air bag spacer in the rear. Looks and rides great with 35” Mickey Thompson MTs. The guys at CJC definitely know their stuff.

Kit was easy to put on and looked great. Track bar was lost in the mail CJC off road sent one out the same day
Really happy I did this. Improvement in ride quality and handling. As usual, CJC was great to work with. Self install took about 7 hors with alignment adjustments.
My recommendation is to change the steering stabilizer at the same time.
Great kit. I deviated from what the proposed lift was and it worked out great. 2024 Ram 3500 Air Assist rear. Carli backcountry level and 2” block with airbag spacers. Truck sits perfect with 1” higher in the rear and rides like a dream. CJC really delivered!
