Engineered for Real Underhood Temperatures

Most engine covers are never validated near the hottest components in the engine bay.

Banks engineers instrumented the area directly above the EGR cooler and measured real-world temperatures to ensure long-term durability.

As a result, a glass-fiber reinforced composite material was chosen with UL94 V-0 flame-retardant properties, built to withstand heat, oil, fuel, solvents, and years of service.

This blend is capable of maintaining structural integrity to deflection up to 482°F, which is more than 50% greater heat resistance than the factory Cummins cover.

Accommodates non EGR engines

The Banks Alternative Mounting Kit is for use only on engines with no EGR. If EGR is present, no additional mounting bracket is required. Available as an add-on item.
