Easy install and fit as described!
Great product to clear around my 37” spare on the Carli trophy hitch.
Fitment is great. Would recommend this to all super duty owners. Just a heads up, beginning pipe will most likely needed to be trimmed down. The kit is for all superdutys, including the long beds. So read the instructions and the chart will tell you if you need to trim, and if you do how much is needed for your application.
Well built and easy to install. There was some conflicting information on how short to cut one of the pipes. Just follow the instructions provided by CJC and not the one in the box from Banks. Best to call CJC and verify though.
I bought my Carli trophy hitch about 2-3 years ago when I had 35” tires and the other aftermarket exhaust worked. This year i decided to get 37” tires and they’re so much smoother. I went from a 36” AT Nitto to a 37” Trail TR Toyo. I’ve had to go around with an exhaust heat wrap and my spare not seating all of the way up for the last 5 months. Then I recently subscribed to CJC’S YouTube channel and I saw it there. I immediately called CJC around 11am and they said they had time to install right now. I think someone must have cancelled or something. I jumped in my truck and drove to the shop in Long Beach. They probably installed it I a hour and half. I also bought a new tie down strap. I was very happy with everything and the sound from the 4” pipe was very solid. A little like stock but deeper and better. My truck is a Platinum edition and either chrome, polished aluminum or stainless steel. I called Banks Power and purchased a chrome tip that really makes it complete.
