Carli Suspension full replacement soft ride leaf packs are a huge improvement in ride for any 2003-2012 Ram truck. These are designed from the ground up for ride quality, offering better small bump compliance and a huge increase in articulation. Unlike other brands, these leaf packs INCLUDE U-bolts! These leaf packs provide around 1" of lift over stock on most applications.

Carli offers these leaf packs in two variants. We recommend the soft ride leaf packs for any truck that spends time empty, and carries variable loads like a trailer or items in the bed. These leaf packs are substantially softer than stock, but you can maintain full towing capcity by using these Carli Long Travel Airbags without hurting your unloaded ride.

If you have constant load like an in bed camper, tool storage system or service body that weighs in the ball park of 1,500 pounds, then the HD leaf packs are a perfect choice. Only select the HD leaf packs if you have constant load though.

Definitely a better ride

I've had the full progressive leaf pack on for about 100 miles now. There is certainly a better ride on these rough Colorado roads. The intersection transition from concrete to pavement would almost jar me out of the seat. I also replaced the shackles. I recommend having the large Torques bit for the bolts. The instructions were pretty good. I did this in my driveway. I needed two floor jacks, two sets of jack stands and two cargo straps... & and bit of creativity. Instructions say to do one side at a time but I found I couldn't get enough clearance so had to remove both, which cause some re-assembly issues but I got it done. Also, I installed the shackles to the frame first... but had to remove them and install them on the leaf spring, only because I couldn't raise my truck high enough, or axel low enough. Anyway, It's doable by a basic mechanic with an average set of tools. Fully recommend, and it raised my truck 3" in the rear.

Nice ride

These leaf springs are extremely heavy and difficult to install if you're not physically fit. They are stiffer than I expected. They still have a good weight carrying capacity. They definitely ride better than the stock springs did, "way better" and definitely worth the money to upgrade. Paired with fox 2.0 shocks are a great combination. Along With the long arm kit and Soft ride front springs my 2007.5 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 2500 rides and handles like a new truck. Rear sits about 1.5" higher than the front.
