Carli's Stainless Steel Low Mount Steering Stabilizer is a direct-fit replacement for your Dodge Ram 2500/3500 with either Y style or 08.5+ Mopar steering. The stabilizer features Stainless Steel Construction, hardened Nitride shafts, and precision bearings for long lasting performance and cosmetic appearance. Carli's Low Mount Stabilizer is an "Internal Floating Piston" shock. This means there is an internal dividing piston which keeps the oil and nitrogen separated. The nitrogen gas maintains constant pressure against the low mass "floating" dividing piston and the column of hydraulic oil, virtually eliminating the possibility of oil foaming or performance loss commonly seen in emulsion style stabilizers sold by competitors.

Carli's Stainless Low Mount Stabilizer is a must-have addition if you are running larger tires or suffering from lack of control due to your worn out factory stabilizer.

The key feature that separates this stabilizer from other options is that the nitrogen pressure can be easily adjusted. Want a neutral feel where the stabilizer just fights road feedback? Set the pressure to 70 psi. Need to correct against a tire pull or road crown pull so your truck isn't yanking you into the next lane? The stabilizer can be charged up to 200 psi to push in the direction of extension. Thanks to the multiple mounting options it can push either left or right depending on your needs to keep your truck tracking straight down the road.

99% of users looking to replace the stock stabilizer will need just the low mount set up for the factory location which corrects a right hand pull.

If you are trying to combine this with an existing Carli high mount on an 03-12 Ram or you want to correct for a left hand pull, then you will need the diff guard and bracket which flips the stabilizer orientation.

If you are running a high mount, this orientation will oppose the high mount. Without that, both the high mount and a stock location low mount would push in the same direction, causing the truck to pull. With the diff guard, the two can properly oppose each other.

If you are starting with a stock truck and want to do a true dual opposing Carli stabilizer configuration, we offer that as a complete kit here.

FITMENT

This stabilizer fits all 2003-2013 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 trucks and 2003-2012 2500 trucks. "2003-2008 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 with Y-Style Steering" option includes a billet clamp to mount the steering stabilizer. This Stabilizer also fits 1994-2002 Ram trucks running Synergy HD T style steering in the stock location orientation mount.

Had a Bilstein steering damper before and I'm not even joking when i say that only a couple of months after install it was done for. Got the Carli with the front differential cover and mount. It's exactly what you expect from Carli and from CJC. I will say if you buy one of Carli's steering dampers, get yourself a nitrogen gage so that you can tune it properly. You can get one on Amazon for cheap. I believe 70-90 PSI is neutral like a normal damper. It's easy to bleed some pressure out and get it to where you want it but you'll need the nitrogen gage to do it. Just go slow and do NOT go below 70 PSI.

Back Country 4th Gen

I personally installed the Back Country Kit on my 2011 Ram 2500 Cummins. The kit was self explanatory with the easy to follow instructions & pictures. I also chose to include the steering stabilizer, anti-sway bar, and HD Trac bar. I have been very happy with the ride and noticed it made a monumental difference on my 250k mile truck.
