Unlike most leveling kits, Carli uses a completely custom built shock with lengths and valving specific to their leveling kit, and the 2014+ Ram 2500 platform. The result is the best and most controlled ride possible! These shocks offer fantastic on road ride, improved handling for basic off road usage, and the control needed for towing.

Utilizing their own 2.0” internal floating piston shocks, Carli developed a tune that delivers all-around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in town, highway, and towing/hauling.

Carli over Fox all day

Great shocks!! Just installed them this past weekend but so far they have made a big difference. Had the Fox 2.0 and the ride quality is so much better with the Carli shocks. Hopefully they will hold up longer than the Fox.

Carli 2.0 from Fox 2.0

2018 Ram 2500 (Cummins) Mega-cab.

I installed the Carli leveling system back when the truck was new in 2018. I don’t really go off-road at all and the leveling kit was to balance out the truck. The fox 2.0’s lasted about 6 years and 130,xxx miles but I should have changed them sooner. I called CJC and consulted with them and we landed on the Carli 2.0 shocks all around. Granted, they are pricy, but please remember that you get what you pay for in life.

I couldn’t be more happy with the shocks for the truck being my daily driver. My only regret was not changing them sooner. The ride is night and day better with just the shocks being replaced.

FYI… I did this in the driveway with a harbor freight impact gun, an open ended wrench, sockets with extensions for the front and speed wrenches for the rear. You should also have a floor jack to help raise the frame - it will make it easier to slide in the lower bolts.

If you can turn a wrench, you CAN do this on your own and you DO NOT need to take off any wheels or wheel wells. Total time was about 2 hours.
