FUNCTION AND FORM // The laser cut 1/8 thick aluminum plate maintains vital airflow to the intercooler while protecting it from kicked up rocks or debris on the trail. Available in either black powder coat or a raw finish, this guard dramatically improves the look of your truck.

MORE CLEARANCE // The factory plastic valence is low enough to hit on a parking stop, so why limit your truck off road? Using all factory mounting holes, our intercooler dramatically improves ground clearance and offers a clean look after pulling your factory valence.

Built in the USA, these CJC Built intercooler guards or skid plates replace the plastic factory front bumper valance and improve the approach angle and ground clearance of your truck, while also offering protection for the intercooler. These require no drilling or cutting and fit 2019 to current Ram 2500/3500 trucks. Please note that these guards are not a skid plate that can bear the full weight of the vehicle since they mount off the factory front bumper. They are made to improve clearance and eliminate the low hanging factory valence. All hardware for install is included.

These guards do not fit 3500 Rams unless they have the compatibility brackets installed. If you have a 3500, make sure to check the box to include the brackets and hardware! These intercooler guards are a direct fit on all 19+ Ram 2500 models and these fit gas engine and Power Wagon model trucks too!

Please note that you are not able to use your factory plate mount with this guard. To mount a front plate, simply use plastic plate mount tabs in the existing holes on your bumper, and then mount your plate directly to those.

This product is not compatible with aftermarket snow plows or snow plow mounts. It will NOT work with ANY aftermarket bumpers as it requires the factory bumper for mounting.
