Detailed Information:

EMF's approach to building their version of the best ball joint on the market has servicing at the forefront of the design. These joints are easily greased, and they are also adjustable. Once you run out of adjustment, you can rebuild the joints without needing to press them out of the knuckle. It's a clever design, and offers quality WELL above what the price. EMF Ram ball joints are made from a 4140 HTSR material and then gas nitride coated to increase hardness.

What A Surgeon Would Use

These EMF balljoints are precision, lifetime and competitively priced compared to the other high end balljoints available. They are actually blueprinted and serialized. You will never have to remove them again. Leave them installed and replace the internal race and pin. The included instructions were detailed and clear, even to include recommended wheel alignment specs. If you have a Gen 2 Dodge, do a Gen 4 tierod upgrade while you’re doing this.

CJC had them in stock when no one else did and shipped them immediately.

Quality joints

Install is straightforward if you follow the instructions. The use of nylock nuts means you seat the ball joints with normal nuts first, then remove them and install nylocks. I would highly advise removing your old joints first and measuring if your truck is higher mileage...one of my lowers required a oversized joint housing which I purchased separately from EMF. The EMF website lists the sizes of their standard and oversized joints and instructs how you should measure (i.e. 4 points around the perimeter and take the average). Despite a listed long lead, they shipped quick. Yes, they cost quite a bit more than new quality ball joints, but there's only so many times you can reuse a press fit, and I'd guess if you're putting these in your 20+ year old 00-02 Dodge, you're planning to keep that vehicle for a while. The advantage with these is you never need to press the housing back out, just replace the internals. And I'm hoping that day is a long way away...
