Are you running expensive Baja Designs LP9, LP6 or LP4’s and worried about thieves…? With the immense popularity of the Baja Designs brand lights, comes unwanted problems or concerns, the biggest is theft of these lights…
Thieves Suck! Don't worry... we have a solution…
Introducing our Baja Designs LP Series Locking Hardware Kit in 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel. Included in the kit is 30 locking hardware bolts and the locking hardware bit needed to install them.
The generic stainless hex-head bolts supplied with the lights function great on a trophy truck out in the desert, but they were never intended to be "Theft Proof” out here on the city streets.
Utilizing a very unique locking hardware kit, which replaces the two side bolts on each side of the LP9 light where they attach to the actual Baja Designs light bracket (see diagram photo above), as well as the two bottom bolts on either side of the larger 3/8” Center Bolt attaching the Baja Designs LP Bracket firmly and securely to the Factory Aftermarket Light Bar.
I also feel like the locking hardware button head bolts also give the whole Baja Designs LP9 a much cleaner look and aestetic (as show in the photos above). As well if any potential thieves are cruising around looking to steal them, they see a ton of very unique locking hardware bolts, and first think… what they hell if that bolt head? And then decided this isnt even worth trying to attempt to steal these as it will take them forever to even try to sit there and unscrew 30 diffrent bolts!
So whether out of town, holiday shopping, out to dinner, the movies, or even parked on your driveway, you will have the peace of mind knowing the thousands of dollars spent in off-road lights are safely and securely mounted to your vehicle.
I have been running these bolts for years now and never once had an issue with theft regardless of where my truck maybe parked, concerts in downtown LA, random hotels or resuarants in sketchy areas, etc. I have the peace of mind knowing my Baja Design lights and with the locking hard kit for the Classic light bar as well, I know they will be there when I get back to my truck.
