This upgraded heavy duty U-joint style front driveshaft upgrade is a must do for 2019+ 5th Gen Ram trucks to eliminate the weak factory CV style shaft. Built by Drivelines Plus this Heavy Duty U-Joint shaft is a great way to have peace of mind on/off road and ensure a far longer service life than the factory CV shaft.
This driveshaft includes a custom designed and patented transfer case flange that allows the driveshaft to be mounted with no drilling. Utilizing this design, the flange can be swapped using the factory snap ring. Something that other brands do not account for. Therefore this installation is also completely reversible.
This OEM Flange Style Extreme Duty U Joint Driveshaft will handle larger tires with ease, and allows for easy servicing. The factory CV style joint has proven to be a major failure point even with stock tires, and is not serviceable. The improve operational angles of this driveshaft will work up to a 6" Lift, but after that the angle may be too Severe and Bind.
This heavy duty front driveshaft fits 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, Dodge Ram 2500 - 3500 Diesel fifth Gen Ram trucks with the 68RFE transmission. This will not work with Aisin Transmissions
