Thuren rear coils are a softer and longer travel upgrade coil option for Ram 2500 and Power Wagon trucks. The added travel requires some supporting parts, so this coil bundle kit includes the coils, sway bar end links and E-Brake extension tabs needed to safely use these coils. You will also need to run Thuren rear shocks for these to function properly.
Which coil is right for you:
Single-Rate Coils info: Thuren Single-Rate rear coils are softer than the OEM rear coils, providing a ride more like a 1/2 ton truck. If you're rarely loading the truck bed, or only rarely towing moderate weight for short distances, the rear end will sag a few inches with Thuren standard Single-Rate coils, and air-bags are not really needed. If loading very heavy, plan on Airbags or a similar load support system added.
Dual-Rate Coils info: Thuren Dual-Rate coils were originally conceived for Thuren's 2014-2024 Ram 2500/PW Predator Long-Travel suspension system, as their Single-Rate coils were just too short to allow full travel. That said, they're a great option for any truck with a progressive spring rate for more capacity than the normal linear rate Thuren coils.
IMPORTANT NOTE: With an unloaded Power Wagon truck bed, these Dual-Rate coils will sit about 1/2" LOWER than the stock Power Wagon rear coils. If you want to retain your exact stock height, or add a tiny bit of lift, you will need to add a THuren HSK rear coil height spacer kit.
