When performance leaf springs are added to your truck, the extension and compression of the leaf springs length can bind up the tight rubber OEM shackle bushing. Removing every bit of friction counts.
Thuren Shackles were originally designed as the key component to our Long Travel extended Leafs, but will fit any truck with OEM or aftermarket leafs. As an added benefit, we added the ability to tune the rear suspension height with three mounting positions.

The grease-able 75D bushing at the shackle pivot provides smooth bind-free shackle swing.
3 position height adjustable, when used with OEM or other brand leafs. Stock height, 3/4" lift, and 1-3/4" lift options.
Thuren LT leafs must use the longest span mounting, so they become non-height adjustable with Thuren Long Travel leafs installed.

Absolutely beautiful fab work and quality on a part most overlook. Has quality materials integrated and performance is as expected. I ended up choosing the shackles along side the bushing kit from energy suspension for my truck after the factory bushings finally gave up the ghost and nearly crashed on a upshift merging onto the interstate. Very happy with every product I have purchased from Thuren Fab. I’m a convinced customer dare I say… for life. Oh and if you have questions about torque values on factory or aftermarket components Thuren has a cheat sheet for just about all of the suspension setup on there website.
I’m very happy with this product. The install was fairly quick and the hardest part was removing the old factory shackles. Once installed I achieved the lift I was hoping for to get my truck level again. The quality when it came to material thickness and welds are by far better then the factory shackles. Highly recommended if looking to get some lift out of the rear or simply upgrade to a quality product.
