Bad Axe steering is a fully USA made, heavy duty steering linkage upgrade for any 2003-2012 Ram 2500/3500 truck. A T style steering design, Bad Axe linkage is hand built from massive 1.5" DOM 1080, thick 3/8” wall tube. This steering boasts 4140 Heat treated Chromoly Joints, which are adjustable to prevent slack as the joints wear and fully made in the USA which is something few steering options can claim. The tie rod joints are also gated to prevent linkage flop. This joint design does require proper greasing and tightening as they wear, but the trade off is one of the strongest designs on the market.

This steering is easily aligned as well, with adjustment sleeves just like the factory linkage. Unlike the factory sleeves, these adjusters are so massive in diameter they match a can of soda in scale.

If you want heavy duty, off road focused steering, this is it.

03-08 Ram owners converting from Y style steering (see third photo in carousel for comparison) will need to select the option to add a pitman arm. If you have a 4" or taller lift please email us before ordering.

Best there is.

Had an apex kit for years and was not happy with the back and forth “clunk” , jam nuts loosening.
Craftsmanship and build quality of the bad axe is top tier. Recommend to everyone looking to upgrade their steering!
