Hands down the nicest second gen track bar on the market. The Thuren track bar fixes the flawed and weak 2nd gen track bar that is so famous for causing sloppy steering and unnecessary vibration and wobble by completely changing the mounting point and bar geometry. Simply put, this is one of the single most important upgrades to improve the handling and steering feel of your 2nd gen Ram, and will stop unwanted flex and play that results from the axle shifting under the truck with the flawed factory design.
Thuren uses a heim joint on the axle side, and a Delrin bushing on the frame side to ensure trouble free use and no play.
0-4" suspension lift and is designed for a factory pitman arm. This setup can support up to 13" suspension travel, and can allow the suspension to use factory bump travel. SHOULD clear larger diff covers but that has not been tested yet.
Includes track bar, frame bracket, and all hardware needed. This track bar is fully bolt on, no welding required.
Fits 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 Ram 2500 / 3500 trucks and SHOULD FIT 1994-2002 Ram 1500 4x4 trucks.
FITMENT NOTES:
Please note, this track bar doesn't work with the inverted orientation of the factory sway bar that Carli and many other brands require for their 2nd gen sway bar end links for 1994-1998 trucks. Thuren does not offer end links for 94-98 2nd gens but they most be run with longer travel coils.
This track bar does work on 98.5 and newer trucks running either the Carli/Thuren sway bar end links, or complete replacement Thuren sway bar. On the older 94-97 trucks, you must remove the sway bar, convert to the 98.5+ axle mounts and sway bar, or run the DT Pro Fab track 2nd gen bar which is compatible with all year models, sway bars configurations, and generations.
Some of the later 1999-2002 3500 trucks have a larger diameter Sway Bar, with a more curved shape to it. This bar has a inward "kick" to it, moving it closer to the frame. This style bar will not work with our Track bar Kit. Please email us pictures of your factory 3500 Sway Bar if you are unsure or the clearance needed, or, plan on purchasing our Sway Bar kit. Out of many hundred 1994-2002 Trackbar kits sold, we have only seen this issue pop up a few times. If you have this issue, we recommend a DT Pro Fab track 2nd gen bar which is compatible with all year models, sway bars configurations, and generations.
If you have the PSC Big Bore SG851 gearbox kit, you will need a M14 x 2.0 x 120mm long and 10.9 rated.






Our sway bar is a softer rate than the stock unit, allowing the axle to move more independently side to side. This smooths out off camber bumps, pot holes, and even simply turning into a drive way. Includes Sway bar, Frame mounts and End links.
- Fits 1998.5-2002 second gen Dodge Ram trucks.
- Uses no solid joints like Heim joints or solid bushings. In this application, Heims can become noisy very early in the life-cycle, with the swaybar moving so much.
- 6 grease zerk fittings used throughout the assembly.
- Same proven JKS Poly orbital joints as used in our other swaybar links.
- Not recommended if you have a much higher center of gravity. For example a slide in camper. Heavy weight in the bed below the rail, or on the trailer hitch, is no issue.
- DOES NOT FIT 1994 to early 1998 axles with the "Cobra style" axle mount. That said, if you want to mount this sway bar on a 94-98 truck, all you need to do is cut off the cobra style axle mounts and weld on these adapter brackets to convert to the 98+ style sway bar mounts. If you've got access to a welder and angle grinder, it's well worth the effort and makes this sway bar an easy bolt on item.


Our XHD swaybar links are the strongest, most versatile swaybar links available to fit the OEM front swaybar. These swaybar links allow you to retain the OEM swaybar, instead of our lighter rate Active Sway Bar, when your truck is outfitted with a higher center of gravity like a slide in camper, heavy roof rack, heavy roof top tent, etc.
- IMPORTANT NOTE! It's rare, but we have seen some of the 2010+ OEM swaybars that are a bit wider than normal, where the clevis slips over the bar. If you have a 2010+ truck please verify that the tip of your swaybar is no wider than 1.67".

This track bar drop bracket fits 2003-2012 Ram 3500, 2003-2013 Ram 2500, and 2005-2013 Ram Power Wagon. This track bar drop bracket was very complex to design, and has many welded components, but that's what it takes sometimes to make the best product possible!
- This bracket is intended to be used ONLY if you have a lift taller than 3", that uses a drop pitman arm. Will not function with 3" of lift or less.
- 3 point frame contact to prevent movement under load, and frame cracking.
- Custom designed 17-4 Stainless Quick-cam crossmember fastener nut.
- Intended to be used with our trackbar, but should fit fine with other brands also.
- If you have a 2003-2007 model year truck, your trackbar must be upgraded to the 2008-2013 larger 16mm hardware.
