We want our trucks to do everything. Hit the trails, tow the boat to the river, take us to work and transport the family on long road trips. Adding an air bag system to your full-size truck or SUV has always meant scratching at least one of those off your list. With most air bag systems, the lower air bag mount is placed above the leaf spring significantly reducing wheel travel by design. Your air bag system should compliment your truck, not inhibit its ability. Daystar’s new Air Bag Cradle* (Patent Pending) mounts to your trucks lower suspension providing more room for the air bag to safely cycle with no loss of overall wheel travel. Inferior lower air bag mounts restrict air bag movement using inadequate space, which can lead to unexpected damage to the air bag. Made from extremely tough Daystar Polyurethane, the Air Bag Cradle allows for full suspension travel, while still allowing the full benefits of your air bag system. The Air Bag Cradle fits most full-size pick up trucks, and SUV’s running 6-inch diameter air bags and are made in the USA.
Starting in 2013 on the radius arm platform, Ram decided to design the front coil spring mounts at an angle. This presents some issues with the coils design, as the coil has a very hard time standing straight without a massive bend in the coil, when loaded. This might be why the OEM coils are so stiff. Stiff coils will bend less. Regardless, with some tricky engineering we were able to combat the angled seats, and design a coil which stands very straight installed.
These front coils fit the normal 4x4 2500/3500 trucks, and also fit most 2014+ 2-Wheel Drive 2500/3500 trucks with the straight front axle. We make a 2 Wheel Drive specific front trackbar, but our shocks needed for these coils all fit the 2 Wheel Drive also. It is a good idea to email us pictures of your 2 Wheel Drive suspension to verify fit, pre-purchase.

- Kit includes one pair of rear soft-ride coils, our HD extended swaybar link kit, and new frame guide bracket for the E-brake cable.
- These coils provide about 20% more down travel than stock, which mandates longer sway bar end links. If the stock end links were used the sway bar would invert as the suspension droops.
- If not purchasing our shocks to work with these coils, please verify below specs to make sure your shocks will work. Even aftermarket shocks by application to fit the OEM suspension, or even a mild lift, will usually not work as they are much too short. Shocks for these rear coils must be 17.5" or less compressed, and 26.5"-28.5" length extended, mandatory. Reason being is even our 1" lowering Power Wagon rear coils are a full 2" longer than the OEM rear coils fully extended with no weight on them. Our stock height PW coils are 3.25" longer than the stock coils with no weight.
- If you tow over 8,000 lbs or load heavy traveling long distance often, have a slide in camper or the like, supplemental weight handling setup like airbags and Daystar cradles are suggested. If loading or towing moderate weight only rarely, or short distances, the rear end will sag a few inches but bags are not really needed.
- Swaybar links use the same high-end JKS link pivots as used in our other swaybar links/systems, 17-4 STAINLESS steel link bushing sleeves, and Grade 8 Black Phosphate hardware.
- These coils are much softer than the OEM stiff coils, giving a feel more like a 1/2 ton truck, ride quality wise. They can also provide up to 13 inches of suspension travel.

Thuren HSK(Height Shim Kit) for rear coil 2500 and Power Wagon trucks! Yes, it’s a coil spacer, but better than most simple spacers. The rear of the 2014+ Ram 2500 and Power Wagon can safely use a small spacer while still retaining full compression travel, so we figured it would be a great concept to improve upon, compared to what’s currently available. Varying bed weights with people adding gear, bed-caps, loading up Ram Boxes, etc, we figured this would be really useful. Staying on course with what we do here, if we're going to make a coil spacer, it's surely going to be unique!
