2014+ Ram 2500 and Power Wagon trucks use a rear coil suspension design, which from the factory is prone to getting a wag or sway feeling as it cycles. At times, it can be so severe that it will even engage the ABS or traction control. If you've experienced this, the Thuren rear track bar is the solution!
This track bar flattens the track bar angle to dramatically reduce the lateral movement of the suspension through the wheel travel. Simply put, this is how Ram should have designed their rear track bar from the factory! This track bar also features spherical end joints, which reduce the bushing slop found in the factory track bar for even further improvements in handling. While not a mandatory part needed for your suspension, most people find the upgrade VERY worth the money.
We highly recommend using Carli 1" rear bump stop drops with this track bar. Without them, the axle side track bar bracket will contact the frame before full compression. Adding a 1" bump drop maintains proper bottom out position on the bumps with this track bar installed.

Yet another fantastic upgrade. The track bar makes things much smoother on the road, combine with a 2.0 full suspension kit and thuren sway bar and this heavy truck floats compared to what it was. Very happy and this is an investment at this point.

Adding an air bag system to your full-size truck or SUV has always meant scratching at least one of those off your list. With most air bag systems, the lower air bag mount is placed above the leaf spring significantly reducing wheel travel by design. Your air bag system should compliment your truck, not inhibit its ability. With Dodge performance suspensions continuing to push the envelope in terms of capability and ride quality, more and more heavy duty truck owners are beginning to take their trucks off the beaten path. As these trucks are used and abused, weak points continue to present themselves in the form of axle housings that bend easily and need to be trussed or ball joints that need to be replaced with bulletproof units.
One aspect of these suspension systems that has been addressed is the bump stops. There are a variety of solutions on the market for hydro bumps - both bolt on and others that require custom fabrication. Unfortunately, these options can be cost prohibitive and tend add a "jarring" effect to the last few inches of suspension travel.
The solution? A replacement bump stop that engages during the last few inches of travel, "ramps up" as it nears full compression, doesn't rebound back, and survives up to 40,000 pounds of force without splitting or cracking. Traditional rubber compound bump stops weren't going to cut it. Many foam materials tested managed to absorb impacts but at the expense of cracking. Locating the correct material and design for trucks that weigh 7000 pounds or more proved difficult.
After a year of sampling materials, engineering bracket designs, and testing various compounds, "Boogie Rated" bump stops are ready. Boogie Bumps are the result of a collaboration between various Dodge off road enthusiasts and manufacturers within the industry.
-Made from microcellular urethane. This material is progressive in that the more it is compressed, the more bottom out resistance it provides. Using presses and lots of real-world testing, there were no failures with this material in testing.
-Taking measurements and testing with nearly every production shock/spring combination available, these bump stops are design to be completely bottomed out with 1/2" of shock shaft remaining, effectively increasing shock bearing lifespan.
-Buyers have the option to choose between brackets that modify the factory bump stop mount or brackets that clamp on to the factory mount.
-These bump stops are 4.5" long, 2.5" wide, and 2.5" tall. They are black in color.
-Each set of Boogie Bumps will include a 180 day replacement warranty.
-This material has been used in industrial applications for over 20 years.
-These bump stops are designed to work on trucks that still have the factory front bump stop mounts. If your factory mounts have been cut off or shortened, please call us as we have a solution for trucks that have been modified as well.
-These bump stops have been tested on 2003-2013 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4's as well as 2003-2012 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4's with 2" and 3" of lift over stock. If your truck has more than 3" of lift, please call us for mounting options.
There are two mounting options for these bump stops:
-Weld on plates. If you have access to a competent welder, this solution includes plates that weld to the bottom of the factory bump stop mounts. No cutting of the factory mounts is necessary.
-Clamps. This solution includes clamps that are engineered to allow you to install Boogie Bumps with no welding required. This is a great solution if you would prefer not to weld on your truck or do not have access to a welder.

Do not fit the rear bumps if you have airbags mounted where the OEM bumps were.

Our trackbar is designed to be VERY rigid, and often people will think that having a rigid track bar will give steering vibration and rattle. Regarding the track bar, this not true, being that the trackbar is the only steering support. If the support(trackbar) deflects, the truck will be allowed to basically steer itself as you encounter bumps/ruts/holes/etc. A rigid trackbar is the only way to be sure that inputs you make to the steering wheel, will actually get TO the wheels.
