This level kit offers a cost effective way to level your truck, at the lowest price point possible without sacrificing ride. Our kit pairs a set of 5100 shocks with Carli's soft ride coils. The result dramatically improves ride, doubles front suspension travel, and levels the truck by increasing front height 2.5" over factory. This system also retains full factory payload and towing.
Recommended unloaded tire pressure is 45F/40R. The addition of a Carli Low-Mount Steering Stabilizer is recommended for any tire over factory size.

This system is designed for the customer that keeps their truck on the pavement, but wants a better ride, level stance and more comfort on mild dirt roads. At the heart of this system is a 2.5” lift, Linear Rate Coil Spring paired to matched travel Fox 2.0” IFP Shocks that have been custom tuned by Carli for superior ride quality and handling. The rear shocks are also included with this system and have been custom tuned to maximize the ride quality for the factory rear leaf springs. In 2019, Ram lowered the rear of the 2500 trucks – for this reason, Carli is now providing a 1″ Billet Block and U-Bolts to fit the larger AAM 12″ Axle (4.25″ Axle Tubes). As the rear springs remain unmodified aside from the lift block, load capacity is maintained. For those that aren’t looking for massive increase in travel or big shocks but still desire a level stance and improved ride quality and handling characteristics, this is the perfect kit. The 2.5” lift height doesn’t require the geometry correction of our 3” Systems.
2019+ Ram 3500 single rear wheel (SRW) trucks will use the version with a block. All other trucks within the fitment range will not require a rear block.
The addition of a Carli Low-Mount Steering Stabilizer is recommended for any tire over factory size.

The Backcountry 2.0 system is designed for people seeking the best ride on and off-road on a budget; perfect for those that want to have a little dirt-road fun in their 8,500lb truck without losing the on-road ride quality or usability for which the truck was designed. You’re no longer limited to the highway while gravel roads become uninteresting as you can drive them at speed with one hand on the wheel. Utilizing Fox 2.0” Remote Reservoir Shocks, Carli has developed a shock tune that delivers all around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in town, highway, towing/hauling as well as slow to mid speed off road use. The Fox 2.0s boast extruded aluminum construction with a clear anodizing for corrosion resistance, are fully rebuildable and are built with hour-glass bushings in the rod-ends. Fox builds these shocks with their legendary red shock oil that flows well down to -55* F. This system is Carli's most popular, all around suspension system. It was tuned and rides best with their Full Progressive Leaf Springs and 18” wheels with 37” tires. Both of the aforementioned are recommended.
The Details: Your truck will sit 3”-3.5” higher in the front (cab configuration dependent) with 50% more suspension travel than the factory platform thanks to the taller, lighter rate coil springs. The rear is lifted 2”-3” via the customer’s choice of a Progressive Add-A-Pack & Block combo or Full Progressive Leaf Pack. The Progressive Add-A-Pack/Block maintains load capacity and replaces the factory overload with a 5-Leaf, progressive pack that changes the final rate of the spring pack keeping the rear planted while increasing traction and predictability. The optional Full Progressive Leaf Pack replaces the entire factory leaf spring assembly increasing travel and drastically increasing comfort (when compared to when compared to the factory springs or add-a-pack) throughout the entire usable travel stroke at the cost of a 15% payload reduction from a standard 2500.
When pairing added down-travel with the taller ride height, the position of the factory, front sway bar will need to be altered as well. For this, we offer two options; Billet Sway Bar Drop Brackets or the replacement Torsion Sway Bar. The Billet Drop Blocks shift the sway bar down and forward to ensure the factory end links cycle properly throughout the entire extended travel range. Carli’s optional Torsion sway bar removes the entire factory sway bar assembly replacing it with a torsion bar supported by fabricated drop brackets and delrin bushings. Fabricated sway bar arms and dual 5/8” FK heim end links round off the package. This is the single best bang for the buck, ride-quality upgrade offered by Carli Suspension.
When lifting the front end of a straight axle truck, the front axle is pulled off-center unless the proper linkages are addressed. Three inches of front lift equates to an axle shifted toward the driver’s side ¾” and, in the radius arm equipped Rams, lightened caster and slight rearward axle shift. This system includes an Adjustable Track Bar to push the axle back toward the passenger side and provide a stronger link with less deflection for the lifted application. We also include Radius Arm Drop Brackets to recenter your caster adjustment and shift the axle forward to its new center of travel. Everything is included to support flawless operation of all components.
Wheel and Tire: This system will fit up to a 37” tire when utilizing wheels that are no more than 9” wide with 5.75-6” of backspacing. A 12.5” wide should fit with no rubbing on the factory radius arm and only minor trimming required, while a 13.5” will require more trimming and slightly more offset to fit properly. 35” tires will fit with VERY minimal, if any trimming. We Recommend running an 18” diameter wheel for optimal ride quality (more rubber = better small bump compliance) on a 35”-37” E-rated tire running 45psi front, 40psi rear when unloaded.

With this leaf pack in place, we went to work on the factory air system. After several revisions, we found the perfect spacer height to achieve full travel of the new leaf springs with the factory bag and built a relocation bracket for the rear height sensor to ensure proper operation of the load leveling system. As the front radius arm drop brackets interfere with the factory air tank, we include a custom bracket and airline to relocate the tank to the spare tire area. The spare tire cavity on these trucks will not accept any larger than a stock size spare; given the recommended 35”-37” tires with this system, it was the logical choice with the nullification of the factory spare. The Details: This system boasts Carli specific, blueprinted, King 2.5” shocks on all four corners. In an effort to provide customers with the best product, we designed a custom piston to determine proper base flow rates to ensure the shock works well in the heavy duty truck platform; we then tuned the shocks around the custom pistons based on the only thing that matters to us, seat-of-the-pants feel. We round off ALL our King shocks with shafts machined and polished from a solid piece of 17-4 Stainless. Unlike King’s standard shafts, there is no coating to wear off, weather is far less likely to hurt them and if there is a small chip, you can round the edges with emery cloth to ensure the seal housing isn’t damaged as they’re not brittle like the stock, hardened shafts. The shocks are finished with King oil good to -55* F. Note that all King shocks are built with a plated steel body. If subjected to inclement weather for extended periods, we recommend wrapping your shocks in 3M to provide a moisture barrier that’s replaceable.
