The Leveling System was designed for people seeking a leveled vehicle with more performance and ride quality than offered by a generic spacer lift. The Carli Signature Series front shocks have been custom tuned, in house, for superior ride quality.
The Details:
Your truck will sit 2.5”-3” higher in the front (year/cab configuration dependent) with 50% more suspension travel than the factory platform thanks to the taller, lighter rate coil springs. The included, front, Carli Signature Series Shocks are longer to accommodate the extended travel. When designing the shocks, Zinc plating, Clear Coat for corrosion resistance and quality bushings were a must; finished off with boots to protect the shafts, we back them with a limited lifetime warranty to ensure their quality is as unbeatable as their ride quality at this price point.
When pairing added down-travel with the taller ride height, the position of the factory sway bar will need to be altered as well. For this, we offer two options (unless 1994-2002, then there’s only one); extended, Sway Bar End Links or the replacement Torsion Sway Bar. The End links are equipped with ½” FK Rod-Ends and in-house machined 17-4 stainless bodies that are extended over stock to reset the sway bar engagement point. Factory pillow-bushings are re-used to assemble the sway bar to the lengthened link. Carli’s Torsion sway bar removes the entire factory sway bar assembly replacing it with a torsion bar supported by fabricated drop brackets and delrin bushings. Fabricated sway bar arms and dual 5/8” FK heim end links round off the package. This is the single best bang for the buck, ride-quality upgrade offered by Carli Suspension (in close competition with the full progressive leaf spring upgrade offered in the higher-end systems).
When lifting the front end of a straight axle truck, the front axle is pulled off-center unless the proper linkages are addressed. Three inches of front lift equates to an axle shifted toward the driver’s side ¾” and back toward the cab ½”. Although this is perfectly operable, we recommend the purchase of an adjustable track bar to shift the axle back toward the passenger side and provide a stronger link with less deflection for the lifted application, and a set of extended control arms to shift the axle forward to its new center of travel.
This system fits Dodge Ram 2500 and Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 trucks from 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013.
Wheel and Tire:
This system will fit up to a 35” tire with stock control arms (we recommend purchasing our extended, Mild Steel Control Arms) on wheels with 5.75-6” of backspacing. If running factory wheels, we recommend an All Terrain 35” tire to avoid rubbing. For 37” tire fitment, our High-Clearance Control Arms and Adjustable Track Bar can be paired to a wheel with 5.75” of Backspacing. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures.

The Starter System includes the Front Leveling Kit and options a rear Add-A-Pack and matching Rear Shocks. This system is designed for people seeking a leveled vehicle with more performance and ride quality than a generic spacer lift; then, adding the rear kit to further the ride quality improvement. The Carli Signature Series front shocks have been custom tuned, in house, for superior ride quality.
We recommend adding a track bar with this system. You can either use the Thuren 2nd Gen track bar or DT Pro Fab track bar. If you wish to maintain your factory sway bar, use the DT Pro fab track bar as the Thuren isn't compatible with inverted 94-98 cobra style sway bars.

Description
The Performance 2.0 system is our Backcountry for the Power Wagon, 3rd/4th Gen Hemi 2500/3500, and 2nd Gen Diesel trucks. The system is designed for people seeking the best ride on and off-road on a budget; perfect for those that want to have a little dirt-road fun in their truck without losing the on-road ride quality or usability for which the truck was designed. You’re no longer limited to the highway while gravel roads become uninteresting as you can drive them at speed with one hand on the wheel. Utilizing Bilstein 7100 2.0” Remote Reservoir Shocks, we’ve developed a shock tune that delivers all around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in town, highway, towing/hauling as well as slow to mid speed off road use. The Bilstein 7100s boast steel construction with clear powder coat for durability, are fully rebuildable and feature FK bearing rod ends for superior performance. This system was tuned and rides best with the Full Progressive Leaf Springs.
The Details: Your Power Wagon will sit ¾”-1” higher in the front (year/cab configuration dependent) thanks to the taller, lighter rate coil springs. The included, front, Bilstein 5100 shocks are longer to accommodate the extended travel and are tuned by Bilstein for increase the suspension control in the Ram 2500 platform.
In factory form, the Power Wagons have the same control arms and track bar as a standard Ram 2500 but a 2” taller coil and longer shock. As the Ram is a short arm design, this pulls the axle off center to the driver’s side about ½” and back toward the cab about ½”. With this system, an Adjustable Track Bar is included to shift the axle back toward the passenger side, re-centering it while and provide a stronger link with less deflection for the lifted application. To shift the axle forward to the center of the wheel well, we recommend a set of Extended Control Arms (especially when adding 1” of lift from the Carli Coil Springs). The control arms are not included in the system as there are two options to allow customers to select whichever is best for their wheel and tire application.
The Factory Sway Bar Disconnect with which the Power Wagons are equipped works great for those wanting the two ends of the spectrum, rigid or flexy. For those wanting to land in the middle of the spectrum between these two end points, Carli’s optional Torsion Sway Bar removes the entire factory sway bar assembly replacing it with a torsion bar supported by fabricated drop brackets and delrin bushings. Fabricated sway bar arms and dual 5/8” FK heim end links round off the package. This is the single best bang for the buck, ride-quality upgrade offered by Carli Suspension when compared to the locked, factory sway bar. The Carli Sway Bar allows nearly bind-free articulation in low-speed applications; when things heat up, it allows the Carli Shocks and springs to breath while engaging progressively to provide control in high-speed cornering situations. Removing the factory sway bar may disrupt the axle-locker wiring, hard-wiring the locker may be necessary.
With this system, matching rear, custom tuned, shocks are included and we recommend the full-progressive leaf springs be optioned for optimal ride quality.
This system fits Dodge Ram Power Wagon 4x4 trucks from 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013.
Wheel and Tire: This system will fit up to a 37” tire with our High Clearance Control Arms and Full Progressive Leaf Springs on wheels no more than 9” wide with 5.75” of backspacing. If running factory control arms or wheels; we recommend an All Terrain 35” tire. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures. The ride will firm up as you go larger in wheel diameter. For more details, see our article on wheel and tire selection and tire pressures:

The Dominator 3.0 is Carli's original flagship ride quality performer for 1994-2012 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 4x4 trucks. The larger displacement combined with Carli's custom low-flow piston and latest shock tune offers the smoothest dampening control and high speed bottom-out resistance. There's nothing smoother than a Carli tuned King 3.0.
In our opinion, the Dominator 3.0 offers the best all around ride quality of any suspension offerings for a Ram 2500/3500 truck. The size and displacement of the 3.0 shocks allows for tuning that almost eliminates and kind of felt choppiness while offering enough dampening to improve the truck's handling both on and off road.
Carli provides the option of whether to include the sway bar end links or torsion sway bar as well as rear progressive add a packs or full progressive leaf springs with this system. For 2003-2009 trucks especially, the replacement sway bar end links are highly recommended as 2"+ of front lift tends to overextend the factory sway bar end links. The progressive add a packs are designed to retain factory weight capacity while softening the rear of the truck as the rear suspension compresses. The full progressive leaf springs replace the entire factory leaf spring pack and are designed to retain about 85% percent of the factory weight capacity. In terms of ride quality, the full progressive leaf springs offer one of the most significant improvements in ride quality available for these trucks.
